COOU Full Accreditation Status For 20 Programmmes

Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), Anambra State, generally known as the University of Pride, has attained exceptional success within the Nationwide Universities Commission’s (NUC) 2022/2023. Accreditation Exercise held in November/December 2022. The University has gained “Full Accreditation” status in twenty of its departments, reviewing its dedication to offering good education and shaping future professionals.

In a memo on the date March 2023, delivered to the Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Greg Nwakoby, signed by Arc. S.S Ikani, Deputy Director, Programme Accreditation on behalf of the Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission, it was disclosed that twenty out of twenty one programs assessed within the exercise obtained “Full Accreditation” status.

    Interim Status in Medicine and Surgical procedure

    Though the medicine and surgical division obtained an “Interim status,” the Commission has promised that this won’t have an effect on the admission of students into this system throughout the years under review. The “interim status” signifies that the Commission will reconsider the program within the subsequent two years.
