The general public is hereby informed that there is a scholarship at Daemen College called the Lumesh Kumar Scholarship for the 2021/2022 academic session.

Daemen College is a private college in Amherst, New York. Daemen was founded in 1947 by the Sisters of St. Francis. Daemen serves roughly 3000 students and has over 36 degree majors in business, healthcare and education for undergraduate and graduate students.

Eligible Countries: The scholarship is available for New York citizens.
Entrance Requirements: Students who comply with the following conditions can apply for the scholarship:
Must be a full matriculated Daemen student, in good standing, participating in an approved study abroad program.
The program must be at least 8 weeks long.
The student must be a male.
Preference for the underrepresented student (first-generation, the person of colour, LGBTQ+).
Financial need is taken into consideration.
Not merit-based.

Application Procedures

Application Form

All applicants must complete and submit the application form for consideration by the scholarship panel. The university will aim to inform all candidates if their application has been considered successful by the closing date. All unsuccessful candidates will be written to after this date.
Complete the application form below and attach it to your essay. Submit in person in DS 245 or via email to international@daemen.edu before 4:30pm on due date.
