To offer international students with financial support, the Eindhoven University of Technology within the Netherlands has established its International PhD Positions in MM-Wave Electromagnetic Compatibility & Coexistence.

Applications are now open for the educational year 2022-2023.

The aim of this Eindhoven University of Technology International Scholarship is to help high-potential college students who wish to undertake a PhD degree;

The Eindhoven University of Technology, abbr. TU/e is a public technical college in the Netherlands;

around 14,000 students have been enrolled in its BSc and MSc programs and about 1350 college students have been enrolled in its PhD and PDEng programs.

It presents a bachelor’s program and 4 master’s programs and consists of a number of research groups specializing in long-term, general, system-oriented research.

Over the past decade, TU/e has dedicated to gender equality inside their academic community.

Scholarship Advantages

The college will provide all the following advantages:
A gross monthly salary and benefits (akin to a pension scheme, pregnancy and maternity leave, and partially paid parental depart) underneath the Collective Labor Agreement for Dutch Universities.
Moreover, an annual holiday allowance of 8% of the yearly salary, plus a year-end allowance of 8.3% of the annual salary.
Do you have to come from abroad and adjust to certain conditions, you need to use the so-called ‘30% facility’, which permits you not to pay tax on 30% of your salary.
A broad fringe benefits package contains an excellent technical infrastructure, moving expenses, and savings schemes.

Scholarship Eligibility

Eligible Countries: All nationalities are eligible for this Eindhoven University of Technology Worldwide Scholarship.
Eligible Course or Topics: PhD degree in MM-Wave electromagnetic compatibility & coexistence.
Eligibility Standards: To be eligible, the candidates should meet all the following criteria:
Apart from good subject knowledge, emphasis shall be on creative thinking, motivation, ability to cooperate, an initiative to work independently and private suitability for research training.
Previous experience in electromagnetic principle and measurement techniques is required.
Proficiency in using scientific and engineering software packages such as Python, MatLab, ADS, CST etc., are advantageous.
A research-oriented attitude.
Ability to work in a team and interested in collaborating with industrial partners of InnoStar.
