FG Declares Monday, May 1st As Public Holiday To Celebrate Workers Day

The Federal Government has announced Monday, 1st of May as a public holiday to mark this year’s Workers Day celebration. This was issued in a assertion signed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Shuaib Belgore.

The assertion applauded workers for their onerous work, diligence and sacrifice, stating that their efforts are highly liable for the greatness of the nation and Nigeria’s domination in the comity of nations. He urged workers to take part in the tradition of productiveness, saying “The end of work is productivity. It’s productiveness that results in satisfactory provision of goods and services and wealth creation.

The minister advises workers to set a high standard of their trade according to the regime of President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd)’s drive to improve the vehicle of governance and make all individuals of Nigeria get high profit from the nation.

The minister also applauded all security agencies for the positive result in the struggle towards criminals all over the nation, as he motivated them to not back down but intensely dissuade the criminals each time they try to constitute nuisance.
