FG Declares Friday 21st And Monday 24th April Public holiday To Celebrate EID


The Federal Government has announced Friday 21st and Monday 24th of April 2023, as Public holidays to mark this year’s EIdil-Fitr Celebration. This was issued in an announcement signed by the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Interior, Shuiab Belgore.
Meanwhile, he said congratulations to every Muslims for the successful completion of Ramadan, Aregbesola called on them to practise the virtues of kindness, love, tolerance, peace, self-denial, sacrifice and good neighbourliness, as exemplified by the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon Him).
He also told them to keep up the self-discipline, selflessness, sacrifice and deep spiritual consciousness that goes along with the fasting period in an effort to be a good individuals and true worshipper.
“He advised Nigerians to be a part of the nation’s safety structure by being watchful and reporting suspicious people and activities to law enforcement agencies around them, noting that security is everyone’s duty. He rebukes Nigerians also to report suspicious activities and individuals to the N-Alert application”, the assertion added.
