The Mandela Rhodes Scholarship offers comprehensive funding for the core costs associated with your studies. It covers tuition for a one-year Honor’s degree or a two-year Masters degree in any field at a recognized South African institution of higher education. The three people who write your recommendation letters must also log onto the platform to upload their letters directly. What is The Application Deadline
The deadline is 21 April, by which time all application documentation needs to have been uploaded. Your recommenders (referees) must have uploaded their references by then in order for your application to be complete.

4. Nanyang President’s Graduate Scholarship
The Nanyang President’s Graduate Scholarship (NPGS) is a competitive and prestigious scholarship scheme designed to encourage outstanding graduates or final-year students to take their first step towards a leading research career by studying for a full time PhD at NTU.
Eligibility
There is no restriction as to the nationality of candidates. Preference will be given to Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents.
- You must have a Honours (Highest Distinction) or equivalent at Bachelor’s level.
- If you have not yet completed your undergraduate degree programme, you will need to furnish documentation from your university that you are on track to get a Honours (Highest Distinction) degree or equivalent.
How To Apply
The application for Academic Year 2022-2023 (August 2022 and January 2023) will open from 01 October to 31 December.
For applicants to National Institute of Education (NIE), please be informed that applications will be opened from 01 October to 31 December 2021. You may apply directly via NIE’s website at https://isaac.nie.edu.sg/Account/ApplicantLogOn
Successful candidates will be informed on the outcome of their application together with the offer of admissions via email.

5. Government of Singapore Scholarships 2022
The Singapore Government Scholarship (SGS) provides highly qualified individuals opportunities to pursue undergraduate studies in top overseas or local universities. As a scholarship holder, you will take on a rewarding career as Senior Officers in one of the Home Team departments.
Eligibility
- Be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident who is intending to take up Singapore Citizenship
- Have strong leadership qualities and potential
- Possess strong interest in safeguarding the safety and security of Singapore
- Have good academic and Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) records
- Have a GCE A-Levels, International Baccalaureate, Polytechnic, NUS High School, or other high school diploma/certificate. Current Undergraduate students (not in final year of studies) with good academic results may also apply.
