Indecent Dressing On Campus For Students And Staffs Banned in UNICAL


The University of Calabar (UNICAL) has just lately put a stop to indecent dressing for both students and workers, as introduced by the Service Compact with All Nigerian Directorate. Prof. Patrick Egaga, the head of SERVICOM, made this declaration on Friday showing disapproval over the rising prevalence of offensive and unofficial clothes worn by members of the school.
The indecent dressing ban particularly targets short skirts or gowns, show backs, ripped jeans, braless tops and robes, spaghetti tops, handless tops, handless gowns, shorts, transparent tops, bum shorts, slit skirts, tight gowns, shimmy, tops showing breasts, shorts, sleeveless shirts, sagged trousers, etc. The imposition of the ban begins from Tuesday, 2nd May, 2023, and shall be monitored by both security and administrative task force.
