James Cook University International Scholarships in Australia 2023

To enhance support so that international college students can begin their student life in Australia, James Cook University has began the Vice Chancellor’s International Student Scholarships for the educational year 2022-2023.

This James Cook University Worldwide Scholarship is offered to International college students and gives as much as a maximum of $40,000 per year for the minimal course period at James Cook University.

Application for this scholarship is by invitation only to international college students enrolling in eligible packages with a weighted average mark (WAM) of 85% or greater.

James Cook College is a public university in North Queensland, Australia. The second oldest college in Queensland, JCU is a teaching and analysis institution.

The JCU Vice Chancellor’s International Student Scholarship (partial payment waiver) gives a 50% partial payment waiver to a maximum of $20,000 per year for the minimal course duration.

• Eligible Countries: All nationalities are eligible for this James Cook University International Scholarship.
• Eligible Course or Topics: The scholarship shall be awarded in any subject supplied by the university
• Eligibility Standards: To be eligible, the candidates should meet all the following standards:
• Should hold a visa that allows study before commencing
• Should hold an offer for a full-time, inner program
• Scholarship recipients should preserve a 6.0 GPA (full payment waiver) or a 5.5 GPA (partial payment waiver)
• The scholarship can’t be mixed with any other JCU grant, scholarship, or allowance
• The scholarship gives a fee discount only – no cash payments or reimbursements are permitted
• Scholarships are allotted at the discretion of the Selection Committee
• International college students enrolled in eligible packages with a weighted average mark (WAM) of 85% or higher.

• How to Apply:  College students should apply for admission via the college portal. Candidates eligible to apply for the scholarship are automatically assessed through the admissions process;
  and eligible candidates will obtain an invitation to apply for the Scholarship from the JCU International Admissions group.
• Supporting Paperwork: The scholars are required to present the following paperwork to the college:
•  Admission Requirements: Candidates should preserve a 6.0 GPA (full payment waiver) or a 5.5 GPA (partial payment waiver)
• Language Requirement: In case your native language isn’t English, you have to demonstrate your English language proficiency by undertaking an English language test rating requirements and tests accepted.
