Then you’ll be able to apply for the International Post-doctoral Analysis Fellowships supplied by the University of Leeds for the academic year 2022/2023.

The first purpose of this University of Leeds Worldwide Scholarship is to help aspirants who wish to undertake;

The University, established in 1904, is without doubt one of the largest higher schooling establishments in the UK. They’re renowned globally for the standard of our teaching and research.

At the Leeds Institute of Medical Research (LIMR) at St. James’s, we investigate the causes and treatment of illness on the level of molecules, cells, patients, and populations.

LIMR is the biggest research institute within the School of Medicine. They’ve round 90 academic staff, roughly 400 research staff, and analysis students.

Most of their activity is undertaken on the St. James’s Hospital campus, with some employees on the main University campus and on the Leeds General Infirmary.

Scholarship Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: All nationalities are eligible for this University of Leeds International Scholarship
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: Analysis diploma in biomedical research, cancer biology, immunology, and virology supplied by the university.
  • Eligibility Standards: To be eligible, the applicants should meet all the following criteria:
  • A first degree and PhD in cancer cell biology, immunology, virology, or different closely allied disciplines;
  • Experience in utilizing a variety of cell-based models in most cancers biology or immunology purposes, together with the processing of contemporary tissue and working with main human cells.
  • Practical expertise in studying immunological responses and immune cell phenotyping.
  • Practical expertise in molecular biology or virology (as much as biological safety level (BSL) 2 containment);
  • Practical expertise in protein and RNA biochemistry and analysis;
  • A monitor file of publications in well-regarded, peer-reviewed international journals;
  • The ability to design, execute and write up analysis independently to the usual required for analysis reviews and international publications;

  • Good time administration and planning abilities, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and manage competing demands effectively, with out close support;
  • A confirmed skill to work in an organized method both individually and inside a team;
  • A powerful commitment to your continuous professional development.
