Family and friends of a student of the Yobe State University (YSU) Damaturu by the name Maryam Lawan Goroma, have taken to social media to show encomium after the student died not to long after finish writing an examination.
Maryam, who is a student of the Chemistry Department was stated to have collapsed on Thursday night, April 27, 2023, and was immediately taken to the hospital where she was confirmed lifeless by the doctor.
A tribute posted by one of her course mates by the name Bukar Maisandari said the deceased was in perfect health before her demise. Another course mate by the name Abubakar Zaid said the deceased complained of stomach pain in the course of the examination.
Her funeral prayer will hold on the 28th of April at her house in Sabon Fegi, Damaturu.
